MacBook Pro 15" Late 2013 vs Mid 2014 vs Mid 2015 vs Late 2016 vs Mid 2017

This is a review between the most popular 15" MacBooks for those who are wanting to code, edit videos and are not wanting to purchase something more than 2kgs~

Simply put, the advantages of the Late 2016 and Mid 2017 models they are 200~ grams lighter, brighter screens and new processors which means they run cooler.

The advantages of the Late 2013, Mid 2014 and Mid 2015 are they're plug and play anywhere (2x usb ports, 2x thunderbolts, 1x hdmi and 1x SDXC card slot). In everyday use, you will notice similarities between the 2 generations which include battery life, headphone jack, sound quality and video quality.
The new generation MacBook(left) design changes include larger trackpad, butterfly mechanism keyboard and the option of Touch Bar and Touch ID (for convenience).

Overall: If you are investing for longevity and quality while having the convenience to travel around and money is not an issue then I will suggest to go for the MacBook Late 2013/Mid 2014 with Nvidia GeForce GTX750M.

However if money is not an issue at all and you are wanting that extra brightness, extra lightness, then the 2016/2017 MacBook Pro is your best friend!
